The controls were smooth, the enemies were fun and the game was gorgeous. Very nice game, but it's very easy. Extremely easy, in fact. I practically breezed through this game, just by mashing the a key.
I also found a small bug. The bunch of zeroes in the corner, which I believe to be score counter, is not working.
Good work and I hope for another beautiful game like this from you. :)

I love it. A man who seems to have lost a lot and is at his last strand get a second chance. He's lucky, not many people get those.

It could use some other things...
Other moves are good and ducking is essential, so think about adding those when you want to make another. :)
Other than that, it's pretty good, and you're well on your way.

Glad you enjoyed it im sill thinking on what other moves could be for a button mash combo (for example keep hitting space for horiz slice, backwards horiz slice and then an smashing vert with increasing damage)
My next game is already halfway planned out, as soon as my friend gets over here with the drawings im gonna start it :)

It's good throughout the first half of the song, but past about 1:32 it seems to lose rhythm. At 2:51 you got it back rockin' again. The middle of it wasn't all that appealing to me, but it has good moments.
Too bad about your recorder though. :(
